It was very refreshing to complete a brief in such a short amount of time, particularly as the majority of other briefs completed in this module have been very time consuming. I personally believe that the posters produced represent energy in different ways, but it was great to hear that others also thought the posters capture the word. Poster Jam featured 4 of the 5 submissions that I made to to their website and Facebook page. This is something that I am extremely happy about as my work has been promoted to an audience of entirely new people. I am going to continue submitting to Poster Jam to try as it is a great challenge and beneficial in promoting my work.
Poster design is definitely an area that I aim to continue experimenting with after University, particularly in my free time as I find that it develops many skills that you'd never really consider learning about in various programs. In this brief, I learnt that you can render 3D objects in Adobe After Effects, which is a programme that I have used a lot throughout this module and an aspect that I have never know about.
I wouldn't have done anything differently in this brief. I stuck to the time plan and managed to submit 5 posters that respond to the brief by linking to the word energy in one way or another. Being critical, I could have produced a wider range of ideas and digital outcomes; however, as the aim was to work extremely efficiently within 3 days, I felt that the amount of content produced was appropriate.
